At the Trinity Centre for BioEngineering a diversified research team of scientists, mechanical engineers, vascular surgeons, cardiologists and entrepreneurs collaborate to solve fundamental research problems and deliver new solutions to treat cardiovascular disease. For example, we are developing new medical devices in the areas of peripheral vascular disease, delivery of large transcatheter devices to the arterial/venous system, mitral valve repair and the removal of varicose veins.
