Viliam Rapcan

Biographical Information

Viliam Rapcan received his MSc in Biomedical engineering in 2007 from University of Zilina, Slovakia. His thesis was titled "Audio analysis as a basis for objective diagnosis in psychiatry". Viliam received his PhD in Biomedical/Neural engineering in 2014 from Trinity College Dublin.

Research Interests

  • Extraction of speech characteristics that will provide biomarkers for objective analysis in psychiatry.
  • Use of speech analysis as an invaluable indicator of the health and functioning of different brain functions in older adults.
