Bulraga
Bulraga, which translates as "do not be afraid" was founded in 2003 and has become one of Ireland's foremost vocal performing groups and embodies modern Ireland in the breadth of repertoire from both at home and abroad, the past and the present.
The group has been actively promoting new composition and performance techniques and have dazzled audiences throughout Ireland. This year the group will present 4 Irish premieres in the Printing House Festival of New Music, work with Linda Buckley at the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival, support Shaz Oye in Dublin and continue their touring schedule with concerts planned in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Waterford.
Bulraga's performances vary from pubs to disused churches and have been described as anarchic... run of the mill is not a term suited to Bulraga," "uniquely exilarating," and "agonizingly powerful."
