UK Speech Conference 2018, 25-26 June 2018, Trinity College Dublin


Introduction

The 2018 UK Speech Conference will take place in Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin, Dublin, Ireland on the 25th and 26th of June 2018. It aims to bring together researchers in the UK and Ireland Speech Science and Technology community, both in academia and industry to share information about ongoing research activities, to meet old friends and make new ones. The conference is organised by the ??? Speech Research Group, with collaboration from the UK Speech Community.

    • Registrations are possible after the 6th but no lunch can be provided

Abstract submission

As per usual we encourage poster presentations from students and researchers. There are a few slots for oral presentation. The content presented at this meeting does not have to be entirely novel as long as it is recent. The work presented can be work in progress. Demos are also welcome.

To present a poster or demo at the conference submit the following to wissam.jassim(at)tcd.ie:

  • Title of Poster e.g. "??????"
  • Names of Author(s) e.g. K.Knill, M.J.F.Gales, K.Kyriakopoulos, A.Ragni, Y.Wang
  • Abstract - submit as one page pdf file containing: Title, Author(s), Affiliation(s) and abstract. Extended abstracts are encouraged (e.g. including pictures, key results tables/figures) but not required. There is no fixed template. See the abstracts from UK Speech 2016 for examples.
  • Poster/Oral - most papers will be presented as posters. If you'd like your paper to be considered for an oral presentation please note this with your abstract submission.
  • Deadline: 18th August
